Job Title: Sr. PHP Web
Engineer
Location: McLean, VA
Duration: full-time
working on site with the project team
5 Month Project
(project visibility through March '15 as of now, will go through contract
renewal by late December this year)
Skills needed:
- PHP + Bootstrap + HTML5 in the front-end, VESTA design pattern and JSON for the back-end calls on top of SQL-Server database and Tomcat/Apache application server
- Tools at use: GitHub, Jira + Confluence, Wiki server for coding/design documentation, Rackstack for environment deployment
- Development cycle: Management through Scrum framework and RAPID SDLC, ability to turn around current PHP code and produce intended new features through provided screen layouts
Individual
type/personality:
- Very dynamic project environment,
- Need to hit the ground running at the very sense of the word,
- Need to be accustomed to working in an agile mode with little requirements definition and a lot of "code-first" approach to the development cycle
