Required:

Job Description:
Client is seeking to hire an experienced programmer to come join our team down in southeastern, MN to work for one of our premier healthcare clients. This person will provide level 2 and some level 3 support of standard, operational processes. This person must be capable of making programming modifications related to both production support as well as discretionary enhancements in response to user requests.

Client solutions runs on the IBM iSeries, and uses the following technologies:
·         RPG programming language – Must be expert
o    ILE and free form experience required
o    DDS
o    Subfiles
  • ·         SQL – Must be expert
  • ·         Command language – Must have.  Will probably come by default with mastery of RPG and SQL
  • ·         Operations vendor support  – Very nice to have.  Depends on iSeries system knowledge.  Typically requires systems engineering experience.
  • ·         Other system maintenance and support as assigned
  • ·         Must have experience with

o    Rational Developer for Power
o    Job scheduling
o    Version control
o    Code migration from development to test and production
o    Change management practices

**The candidate has:
(1) Aldon change management experience

  • The Data Architect is responsible for both defining data structures and understanding the data integration across the systems. 
  • The Data Architect is expected to set data architecture principles, create models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business architecture, create diagrams showing key data entities, and create an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision.
  • The role requires strong collaboration with several teams including Application Development and Infrastructure.


Scope of work:
Primary Role:
The Data Architect will own, document, and promote the vision of the data for the ETS system and all ancillary internal interfacing systems. This will be a staff augmentation role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze data elements and define data dictionary within Client ETS databases and its ancillary interfacing systems
  • Own the enterprise data model of the ETS system databases and the database models for all ancillary internal interfacing systems 
  • Lead data modeling efforts for ongoing changes of the existing ETS system and for the modernization efforts for ETS 2.0
  • Collaborate with Business Subject Matter experts, Technical Leads, and System Architects to implement business requirements and technical architecture requirements into required logical and physical database designs
  • Develop standards, conventions, and templates for database object design, including naming and data type standards
  • Reconcile and consolidate redundant database instances, replications, or extracts as appropriate to eliminate/reduce use of Production data and to avoid unrecognized change management complications from DB structure updates
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Technical Architects regarding database platform requirements and configurations (RAC, DataGuard, storage configuration, data volume planning, performance planning)
  • Understand health care industry specific security requirements and implement supporting database structures and controls within designs, including use of encryption and advanced security features within Oracle
  • Experience designing large database for OLTP performance, including but not limited to efficient structures, indexing schemes, proper use of partitioning, effective denormalization, and tuning recommendations/strategies at the database level.
  • Experience designing large databases for OLAP performance, including minimizing redundant data to service reports and extracts, efficient denormalization, use of materialized views, effective indexing schemes, analytic query techniques, etc.


Special Requirements:

  • Experience with data modeling for large scale, mission critical systems at a corporate enterprise level, including interfaces to multiple departments (Finance, Sales, Customer Service, etc.)
  • Experience with database design for performance, archiving, audit logging, and regulatory compliance (Federal law, Federal security standards)
  • Experience with database design for a multi-schema, component-based solutions
  • Experience implementing database design with demarcation for multiple business process domains
  • Experience implementing database modeling and design to facilitate automated build of DDL scripting and database versioning management (i.e., internal version control of database structures and interaction with automated database upgrade builds)
  • Data modeling experience using ERwin or Oracle Developer Database Designer
  • DBA Experience with Oracle 11g R2 or higher
  • Experience with health care claims processing a plus
  • Experience with OLAP features such as cubes and In-memory a plus
  • Off-Shift work and weekend work may be needed

Job Title: OFSAA developer

Job Description: 

  • The OFSAA developer will be part of a development team implementing profitability solution using OFSAA Key responsibilities of the developer includes the following:
  • Configuration of rules for cost and revenue allocation in OFSAA for profitability calculation. Configure FTP rules in OFSAA. Write T2Ts to transform data. Develop procedure using PL/SQL. Understand business requirements and implement technical solution within OFSAA in an efficient way. Test OFSAA configurations and fix defects as appropriate.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues by analyzing OFSAA log files and fixing the issues.
  • Understand complex SQL queries, analyze data related issues and identify root cause of issues / defects. Develop and implement performance optimal system.
  • Maintain the end-to-end OFSAA batch and provide technical support.


Major responsibilities include:

  • Production support of OFSAA, this includes batch runs and minor development requests to fix defects as required.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues by analyzing OFSAA log files and fixing the issues. Analyze data related issues and identify root cause of issues / defects.
  • Develop rules for cost and revenue allocations in OFSAA including configuring FTP rules and writing T2Ts to transform data. Develop adhoc procedures using PL/SQL.
  • Testing in support of projects and creation of project artifacts as required by project life cycle.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Hands-on experience in OFSAA v6.1 Profitability, FTP and GL Reconciliation modules.
  • Good expertise in configuring allocation rules in OFSAA for cost allocation and revenue allocation for profitability management.
  • Good expertise in configuring Transfer pricing rules in OFSAA FTP module.
  • Good expertise in building T2T (Table to Table) transformations in OFSAA.
  • 3+ years of expertise in developing forms with the help of OFSAA forms framework.
  • 6+ years of experience writing and debugging complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures in Oracle database.
  • In-depth understanding of Dimensions, hierarchies and attributes as it applies to OFSAA profitability modules.
  • In-depth understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Good understanding of functional aspects of profitability calculations.
  • Working knowledge of OFSAA Run-Rule framework as it applies to Credit Risk application is a plus.
  • 6+ years of experience working in the financial industry. Flexible in managing competing priorities and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently as needed.
  • Strong team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
