Job Description:
The duties of the
consulting resources would be to plan, create, modify, implement and control
any of the following:
- Requirements Management and Communication: Requirements analysis activities; Communicating project requirements, requested changes and testing needs to all stakeholders; Acting as a liaison to management and advisor to developers, business users, and testers.
- Conducting and Documenting Requirements Elicitation: Defining customer's business needs and ensuring they are properly interpreted and translated into application and operational requirements; Conducting requirements elicitation sessions or JAD sessions to elicit requirements; Validating stated requirements expressed by a stakeholder matches their understanding of the problem and their needs.
- Documenting Requirements: Creating textual requirements, use cases and business / workflow diagrams to support design solutions; Prioritizing requirements to ensure design, testing, and implementation efforts focus on the most critical requirements; Organizing requirements by creating sets of views that are comprehensive, complete, consistent, and understood from all stakeholder perspectives.
- Verifying and Validating Documents: Obtaining and maintaining consensus among stakeholders to verify requirements specifications and models meet the necessary standard of quality to allow them to be used to effectively guide further work; Validating that all requirements support the delivery of value to the business, fulfill its goals and objectives, and stakeholder needs.
- Project Management: Project schedules, including task management and coordination; project change control and organizational change management.
- The consultant will adhere to client standards and tools
Required Skills:
- At least 60 months experience with Insurance and/or Financial business processing.
- At least 24 months experience working as a Project Manager responsible for coordinating and managing all activities related to the development and integration of a major system.
- At least 12 months experience with HP Quality Center.
- At least 12 months experience with project management software.
- At least 12 months experience with BluePrint.
