Job Title: QA Test Lead

Duration: 6 months

Location: Atlanta GA (Buckhead area)

Job Description

Key Skills:

• Strong QA skills, ability to author test plans and strategies
• Strong experience managing offshore testing teams
• Good BA skills that can translate the requirements from the business team to the technical team.

Testing:

• Develops system and system integration test plans.
• Coordinate with multiple teams that are geographically dispersed (UK & India)
• Develops system test data and performs system, integration, parallel and stress tests for large size projects.
• Coordinates system and system integration testing.
• Assists quality assurance testing teams.

Other:

Researches and resolves permanent resolutions for a production environment.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures
• Review and approve testing programs that addresses areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability
• Review documentation of software defects and assign software developers to investigate and resolve the issue
• Review and approve test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks 
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problemsProvides input to peers, management and customers for recommendations and alternate solutions and/or improvements.
• Conveys and insures the understanding of technical strategies and vision to project participants.
• Conveys problems, solutions, updates and project status to their peers, customers and management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in computer science, a related discipline, or an equivalent educational and work experience, with typically up to 5-7 years of systems analyst experience.
• Experience leading significantly complex projects and be able to independently work on the most complex projects within the division.
• Work performed at this level covers a wide range of systems analysis, generally within a minimal number of system enterprises.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to work with associates at all levels within the organization, especially upper level managers in various business units.
