Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst - Mobile Apps

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

• Sr. Business Analyst Consultant to assist in requirements, testing and implementation of enhancements geared toward improving and optimizing the functionality of Client’s MobileApps.
• He/she will gather, organize, document and manage solution requirements and assist in the development of test cases and scenarios to validate the functionality meets requirements. 
• He/she will also be responsible for delivering related project documentation including functional requirements, wireframes/storyboards, use cases, business cases, performance metrics, and user acceptance test plans.  

Must have strong experience with:

• Understanding the native app/mobile development life-cycle, including retail best practices
• Working closely with UX team to define and document site and application functionality
• Ability to own functional requirements and specifications including annotated wireframes, use case and workflow development, and security/content management specification
• Defining current state to future state workflow process mapping/documentation
• Content taxonomy modeling/object modeling experience
• Understanding of SEO/SEM best practices

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and lead user discovery sessions and project team meetings to gather and organize project business requirements and use cases on assigned projects
• Analyze and document IT and business processes and design improvements that reduce expense and increase customer satisfaction through improvements in quality, efficiency, and communication
• Contribute to issue identification, tracking & resolution; Assist Project Manager with administrative tasks, as needed
• Identify innovative solutions to improve cross-functional processes and operational efficiency
• Design, coordinate, and execute application functional tests to ensure fulfillment of business requirements and IT quality, architectural, and security standards
• Work closely with the quality assurance team on the correct testing methodology/tools/reporting, focusing on requirements and user test methodology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS/CIS, Engineering, or related field (required)
• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst, with a minimum 2 years in a retail environment and some Mobile Apps project experience (Retail Stores NOT Retail Banking)
• Strong business analyst skills – experience with process modeling, use case development and detailed requirements documentation, with an expertise in IT systems development lifecycle
• Ability to lead business and IT associates with strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration, facilitation, leadership, and negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills to facilitate cross-cultural communications between and among highly experienced business and IT associates
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to breakdown and effectively communicate complex business and technical processes, problems, and issues
• Excellent planning and organizational skills; capable of multi-tasking across several projects
• Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short term perspectives of situations
