  • If so, the Cloud Services Group within NTT DATA wants to talk to you. We are currently seeking a Workday – Senior Technical/Integration Consultant to join our team in North America.

Job Description:
  • Workday is the leader in enterprise-class, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for managing global businesses.
  • The Workday Senior Technical/Integration Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the successful technical support of the client’s Workday Human Capital Management solution. 
  • The NTT Data Cloud Services Senior Technical / Integration Consultant will provide Workday product, technical support, and optimization expertise to their engagements.
  • The Senior Technical/Integration Consultant will work with their clients to understand their business requirements and assist the customer on a mix of complex integration projects.
  • This role will also work directly with other consultants engaged with the project to ensure client success.
  • The Senior Consultant will provide his/her expertise to the team, while taking direction and providing status updates to the Project Manager and Engagement Manager assigned to the project.


Key Areas of Responsibility / About the Role
  • Demonstrate integration experience in Human Resources related domains, (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, etc.) and/or Financials Management.
  • Work directly with customers to gather requirements, research, document, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy web service integrations.
  • Assist the client with associated Workday implementation project technical and integration tasks, with a focus on the most strategic and complex projects.
  • Work closely with the client’s project team to ensure the customer’s successful support of Workday’s various integration products, tools, and services.
  • Join a team of other Senior-level Integration Consultants and collaborate with other consultants and client representatives.
  • Work closely with the client’s project team to help manage the integration deliverables associated with Workday initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to clients or service partners on integration strategies.
  • Possess a deep knowledge of service oriented architecture design principals, common ERP integration design patterns, in-depth knowledge of Workday’s various integration technologies, Workday’s Implementation methodology, and will combine those skills to deliver successful integration support for the client.
  • Assist with data conversion as needed while supporting the client.
  • Complete the work assigned by the Engagement Manager within the budgeted time allocated.
  • Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and utilize it on all engagements.
  • Work with Delivery Assurance to ensure compliance with agreed to checkpoints.
  • Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices and identify opportunities for the client to optimize the Workday solution.
  • Ensure the client is one that can be referenced once the client is in production.
  • Participate in update training and other events that help share one’s product skills with other consultants.
  • Provide the Engagement Manager with status reports and keep them apprised of project status.


Experience requirements
  • Experience implementing Workday, with demonstrated Workday technical and integration experience
  • At least one full Workday project lifecycle required; 2 or more Workday projects preferred
  • 5+ years implementing integration solutions with ERP software
  • 5+ Years integrating systems with third-party service vendors
  • 5+ years Human Resource and Payroll software application experience such as Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Netsuite, Taleo, or other SaaS and/or on-premise ERP systems
  • Demonstrated SSO experience
  • Command of Service Oriented Architecture Concepts
  • Proven integration design experience
  • Workday Studio experience
  • Workday EIB experience
  • Workday integration testing experience
  • Workday custom reports and calculated fields experience
  • Command of Service Oriented Architecture Concepts
  • EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net or other integration technologies
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
