Job Title: CMS Developer

Location: San Francisco or San Ramon, CA

Role description

• Be a member of our .net engineering team to develop and deliver www.bankofthewest.com changes
• As a CMS Developer, you specialize in working on Sitecore CMS system implementing layouts and sub layouts.
• Work closely with UX designers, project managers, back-end and other front-end engineers to implement CMS templates quickly.
• Quickly generate a prototype from UI concepts for testing and team feedback.
• Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
• As a developer and being part of the agile team, work in sprint planning. Estimation, tasks breakdown and develop, test and deliver into the continuous integrated environment.
• Develop secure software adhering to the design and coding standards with necessary unit testing scripts
• Design and code independently on individual assignments, and help others in the team to deliver their assignments, in each Scrum sprint

Qualifications:

• Experience: (3-7 years)
• Strong proficiency in design
• Experience with Sitecore CMS , HTML4, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and front end technologies.
• Experience with adaptive and responsive techniques.
• Skills in C#, Javascript, jQuery 1.9.1, Knockout JS 3.0, Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0, MVC 3.5/4.0 framework , IIS 7.0, TFS 2012,
• consuming / integration with web services
• TFS based development process. TDS integration usage for Sitecore
• Strong grasp of software design patterns
• Secure coding practices
• Ability to promote ideas and make sound technical decisions as a member of a team of technical experts.
• Experience in Sitecore Content Management platform is a big plus.
