Job Title: C++ Developer

Location: New York City, NY

Job Description:

• The role's core function is to continue development and improvement of API libraries utilized for communication with quote and trade management system.
• Successful candidate will be able to quickly familiarize himself with existing code base and learn how API interacts with server side infrastructure components, proactively suggest and implement improvements.
• Successful candidate will be able to communicate with and provide guidance to clients adapting the API as well as provide support when production issues arise..
•  
• Heavy experience in multithreading and network programming with TCP and other messaging APIs
• Heavy experience with C++, ability to write platform independent code with low latency/high throughput considerations
• Experience working on infrastructure projects with libraries and APIs used by 3rd parties
• Clear conceptual thinking and communication
• Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX and various IPCs such as shared memory.
• Some prior exposure to Java desirable but not necessary
