Job Title: Business Analyst

Duration: Long Term

Location: Rensselaer, NY, US

Job Description:

• Identify additional data from systems to be supported in the Data Warehouse
• Document new data mart requests, modifications and accompanying reports
• Develop Cognos 10 complex reports
• Work as part of a team on activities such as unit, system and user acceptance testing, data validation, documentation and knowledge transfer.
• Support improvements in business process and Data Warehouse reporting to meet OCFS reporting needs
• Respond to data requests
• Use SQL and COGNOS tools on a routine basis in achieving the above tasks

Required Skills:

• 60 Months of Experience in use of SQL or related packages in evaluating databases to   assist developing business requirements
• 60 Months of Experience developing and modifying COGNOS 10 complex reports
• 60 Months of Experience in activities such unit, system and user acceptance testing, data   validation, documentation and knowledge transfer
• 60 Months of Experience in supporting business processes to improve reporting needs
• 48 Months experience in responding to data requests
• 24 Months of Experience in Social Services doing database related work/analysis
• Bachelor’s   Degree
