Job Title: Visual and UI Designer

Duration: Long Term

Location: Newark, NJ

Skills/Experience Requirements

• Contribute to discussions with cross-functional teams to incorporate design feedback appropriately.
• Fluency in best practices for mobile and web-based design, as well as strong knowledge of information architecture.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in small groups to defend your designs.
• Stay current with the latest design and technology trends across web, desktop, and mobile platforms, and adopt modern techniques as appropriate.
• 3+ years of experience as an interactive designer, user interface designer, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Fireworks. Experience with After Effects and prototyping tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Be a self-starter who is a customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player.
• Familiarity with the technical considerations required when designing for multiple devices (i.e. HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
• Have at least two apps for recognizable brands in market (available for download in iTunes and/or Google Play).
