Job Title: COBOL / BMC Developer

Location: Austin, TX, US

 

Position Functions or Responsibilities:

Must have BMC ARC experience

Strong experience with BMC ARC for DB2 is required along with COBOL.

The COBOL/BMC Programmer/Analyst will be responsible for making changes to existing COBOL Batch programs/jobs to include calls to BMC Restart utility.

Will be responsible for executing and participating in analysis, coding and testing.

May be required to develop and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 Years Mainframe - BMC - DB2 Utilities  
• Minimum 3 Years Cobol  
• Minimum 3 Years Experience with BMC Application Restart Control for DB2  
• Minimum 1 Year Experience Managing Checkpoint strategies  
• Minimum 3 Years Experience coding DB2 Checkpoint restart utility calls within COBOL Batch environment  
• Minimum 3 Years Experience Maintaining and Enhancing COBOL/DB2  
• Minimum 1 Year Experience with Load/Unload/Compare Utilities  
• Minimum 2 Years Experience developing and executing test plans, test cases and test scripts
