Position: Oracle DBA/Developer

Location: Roseland, NJ - Need Locals

Interview: Telephonic & In-person

Duration: 6 months +

Job Description:

• Oracle Development DB Admin needed.   Responsibilities include managing scripts for development team, writing migration scripts, supporting production releases, and triage of production performance issues for the ADP Analytics product.
• Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.  
• Position will require candidates that are well versed in Oracle performance tuning techniques in order to optimize complicated SQL queries.  
• Additional responsibilities include managing scripts for entire Dev team as it relates to product releases.  
• Scripts will be provided to the infrastructure team to execute in higher environments, but the candidate must be available to support deployments as needed. 
• All client migrations scripts (moving from version A to version B of our Product) will be handled by this person.
• Experience working with a column based DB is a big plus, as we are exploring utilizing column stores going forward.
