Job Title: Scanning
Technician
Location: Kevil, KY
Position Functions or
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently scan and key in specific information from x-ray patient jackets (i.e. .patient name, patient number, date of birth, description demographics…) into a computer terminal thus providing a detailed inventory and database of all files received at our facility for both us and our valued customers.
Principle
Accountabilities include the following.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:
- Must exhibit proficient and accurate typing skills
- Participate in any of the customer specific job details (create new file jackets, etc)
- Complete all daily production logs
- Maintain a clean, safe and tidy work environment
Knowledge/experience:
- Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience:
- High School Education or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and commands
- Typing/keying skills
- Reading and Comprehension skills
Physical/mental
demands and working conditions:
- This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
- Office/warehouse environment.
- Can become stressful when new job details are required. Imperative that all data entered is input accurately and efficiently.
- Substantial time spent sitting and typing/keying.
