Job Title: Java Developer - (3 - 5 yrs experience)

Duration: Long Term

Location: Providence, RI, US

Qualifications:

• Locals preferred

• Must have good communication skills 

The day to day tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.
• Contribute in all phases of the development life-cycle.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
• Prepare and produce releases of software components.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Required Skills:

• 3 years of Experience in Database Concepts and SQL doing Application Development.
• 3 years of Experience in SQL doing Application Development.
• 2 years of Experience in Advanced SQL doing Application Development.
• 2 years of Experience in Oracle doing Application Development.
• 3 years of Experience in Java Server Pages doing Application Development.
• 1 year of Experience in JDeveloper doing Application Development.
• 2 years of Experience in Java Script doing Application Development.
• 2 years of Experience in Servlets doing Application Development.
• 1 year of Experience in WebLogic Application Server doing Application Development.
• 6 Months of Experience in Version Control doing Application Development.
• 6 Months of Experience in Technical Documentation doing Application Development and/or Support.
• 3 years Experience in Java doing Application Development.

Other Required Qualifications/Experience Qualification Analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team- Maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work- Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions.
