Position: Network Administrator

Location: Detroit, MI

Job Description: 

• Datacenter - WTLATWCL41 Has technical expertise in a defined area and can handle problems/tickets complex in nature. 
• Serves as escalation point for all isues within a group (infrastructure support/network) in a project. 
• Responsible for maintenance and administration, enhancements, following change management policies, report capacity and availability, updation of the ticketing system and KEDB. 
• Is expected to trainand mentor junior administrators. Maintains a roster for shift management (if applicable). 
• Is expected to participate in weekly operational meetings, change management meetings. 
• Expected to lead the team from transition to delivery and also work with Project manager for Infrastructure projects and SI work. 
• Should engage in Continuous Improvement Projects or SIPs to improve productivity and SLAs. 
• In Package Implementation space: The incumbent leads and manage complex DBA projects, has expertise in new technologies, developments, database and application upgrades. Mentors and groom DBAs.

Required Skills:

• 5-8 Years Design, Implement,Review and Manage Webserver estate. 
• Performance Tuning ,Handlers and Filters ,SSl,Security ,Trouble shooting, Load Balancers ,Advanced scripting. 
• Should have expert knowledge webservers such as IIS,iPlanet,Apache ~ [Advanced Shell Scripting] -Development of Scripts for complex Data parsing,Analysis and Report generation -Development of Scripts for Disk monitoring,Network load tracking & management.
• System Monitoring and Diagnostics,Recovering from crashes, Performance tuning. ~ Analyze Memory leaks, heap size, Java Thread dumps. 
• Analyze concurrentconnections , child threads, session persistence for Web and applicationservers. 
• Providing solutions to optimize APPS/Web/MQ infrastructure. ~ Performing IBM Websphere MQ admin activities such asPerormance Tuning, Capacity planning, BCP,Cluster Design / implementation / Troublshooting
