Position: Technical Writer with Unix

Location: Boston/Quincy, MA

Job Description:

• Tech Writer requirement for ESF project 
• Should have good Technical Writing Experience
• Should be having min 6+ yrs of work experience in Technical Writing.
• Should be very good in English Communication skills (verbal/written) 
• Should be comfortable in using Technical Writing tools (MS Office, MS Visio Adobe etc)..
• Interact with SME/Technical Team and prepare the documentations.
• Willing to Work in Quincy Massachusetts

Skill and Experience Details:

Project Management

• Conceptual Awareness and Limited/No practical Experience Entry level project manager who has completed a formal course in project management techniques,behavioural skills and have some team handling experience 
• Will be responsiblefor smallon-critical projects with well defined scope and boundary, under thedirect supervision and guidance of line/practice manager. (Extent of supervisonand mentoring required will be high) 
• Will be responsible for delivering theproject using organization project management/execution tools to effort, cost,schedule and quality 
• Will be responsible for planning, tracking, reporting(internal and external) project performance (status and progress) on a periodicbasis

Unix Admin

• Canditates should have worked in Unix/Linux Platforms like Solaris, HP-UX,AIXand Red Hat Linux. 
• Should have Administrative expereince in Unix like UserManagement, Process & Daemon Management, Softwares (Patches & Packages)Management. 
• Should have worked on Filesystems like Filesystems, Exporting & Mounting FileSystems, Recovering Filesystem Errors and Device Path Management.
• Should have worked on File Permissions. 
• Should have worked on Performanceissues, Volume Managers & clusters.Knowledge of Disk Space Management,Performing user administration,performing System securit,configuring networkfile system and Auto FS.

Technology Infrastructure Services

• Familiarity/Tasks: Administration of any OS and/or Database and/orweb/webapplication servers Scripting: Shell or Perl 
• Good knowledge overnetworks, networking protocols, IPv4, load balancing, DNS, routing, Firewalls,backup systems, NMS systems, storage Tools: Solaris, Linux, HPUX, Windows,Oracle, SQL, MSQL, Sun One/IBM/IIS webservers, Websphere/Weblogic ApplicationServers -->
