Job Title: IT Service
Desk Technician
Location: Troy, MI
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service for internal customers
- Respond to requests for technical assistance via phone, ticket, or email
- Installation and support of computers, laptops, tablets, and thin-clients
- Installation and support of desk phones and cellular phones
- Installation and support of MS Office, Land FX, and other applications
- Installation and support of printers, scanners, fax, and other business equipment
- Maintaining hardware and software inventory
- Account management in AD, Exchange, and other applications
- Managing file share permissions in a Windows environment
- Troubleshooting in a Citrix environment
- Ordering, shipping and receiving of IT equipment
- Administering our Airwatch MDM solution
- Use of tools such as VNC to troubleshoot remote computers
- Testing QA tickets on a weekly basis
- Creating and maintaining images for computers, laptops, and thin-clients
- Monitoring network connectivity issues using Dynatrace and PRTG
- Vendor management and escalations
- Professional documentation of all issues in ticketing system
- Work with team members to efficiently solve problems
- Looking for someone that is bilingual in Spanish.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2 years of technical support experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Extensive computer hardware and software experience
- Experience with troubleshooting telecom, networking, and VPN solutions
- Experience with thin-clients and Citrix infrastructure
- Strong technical and analytical aptitude
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and remain detail oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work every 3rd Saturday on a rotational basis
- Ability to work different shifts as needed
