Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Boston, MA, US

Position Functions or Responsibilities:

• Business analyst needed to work on eliminating a work backlog of data defects.  Business Analyst will interact with client and database developers to move a defect through the correction life cycle.
• Evaluate Data defect reports.
• Review with client to determine correct business operation.
• Work with development team to define required modifications to PL SQL queries.
• Once corrected, work with client to confirm fix worked.
• Work with test manager to adjust system tests as necessary.

Required Skills:

• 7 years' experience as a Business Analyst
• 3 years' experience in data analysis, agile methodologies, and requirements management
• 2 years' experience in data migration or data warehouse projects

Desired:

• Experience using data profiling tools such as Talend and Informatica
• Familiarity with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio from Embarcadero  or Erwin
• Familiarity with ETL (extract, transform, load) tools  such as Informatica, SSIS
