Position: Web Developer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 1 year
Must Have Skills
- Ideally 5 to 7 years of hands
on web development experience
- A strong level of technical
expertise with the following: HTML 5, HTML 4, XHTML, CSS3, AJAX, jQuery,
jQueryUI, Javascript Libraries, JSON, XML, UI design techniques.
- Interpreting graphic visual
or interaction designs in HTML, CSS and Javascript.
- Ability to prototype
solutions during requirement gathering phase
- Creating visually appealing
web pages or interfaces.
- Creating, editing or
modifying templates for a CMS or web development framework.
- Experience in creating
responsive solutions
Desired Skills
- Prior experience with jQuery
Mobile, Backbone.js, knockout.js, Twitter bootstrap.
- Exposure to Agile development
methodologies
- At least 1 year prior
experience in working on eCommerce web site development
Roles and Responsibilties
- Web developer would be responsible
for the development of new pages or revamp of the existing pages from the
eCommerce websites
- Understand the requirements,
provide an estimation, perform design and development, unit testing of the
web pages
- Test the web pages across
browsers and fix issues if any
- Integrate the web pages into
Sitecore CMS with the help of Sitecore developers
- Closely work with UI
Designers, developers, architects and QA in completing the deliverables
