Title: Senior Java J2ee Developer with Restful WebService And SOAP

Location: Brisbane, CA

Duration: 6 Months +

Position Description

• Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Software Engineering and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
• Leads and participates in medium- to large-scale projects
• Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity
• Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions
• Provides support to the business
• Troubleshoots business and production issues

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years’ experience building scalable ecommerce applications
• 4+ years’ experience with Eclipse or other IDE development tools
• 2+ years’ experience developing using relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL
• 4+ years’ experience developing using Java technologies 
• 2+ years’ experience writing multi-threaded high performance applications
• 2+ years’ experience developing service-oriented (SOA) and REST architectures 
• 2+ years’ experience in Unit-testing (Junit, TestNG, Jmock, MockIt, etc.)
• 4+ years’ experience in Source Control systems such as Git, ClearCase, CVS, Subversion
• 2+ years’ experience in messaging queue

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing using Apache Camel, Tomcat
• Experience in Cassandra
• Experience in WebUI design and implementation
• Experience developing using Spring framework
• Experience developing using BPMN engines (Drools, Activiti, others)
• Experience developing using Hibernate and JPA
• Experience in mobile development
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Experience developing in web application frameworks, HTML, DOM, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, cross-browser compatibility issues, and client-side performance optimization.
• Experience profiling Java applications
• Experience in TDD (test driven development)
• Experience in scripting languages (JavaScript, Groovy, Ruby, etc.)Experience with Unix command line tools
