Position: Scheduling Analyst

Location: Plymouth, Minnesota

Duration: 12-15 Months

Interview: F2F (or skype)

Job Description:

·         Candidate will have 1.5+ years of experience in TWS distributed batch scheduling tool. 

·         This position will work on permanent changes to the scheduling database.  (all objects included. ) 

Day to day responsibilities of candidate:

·         Reviews work in associated work buckets

·         Adds items to the schedule

·         Changes / deletes items in the schedule

·         Creates / Modifies command lines

·         Adds / modifies dependencies

·         Root Cause Analysis

·         Migrate batch from one environment to another.

Top “5” Requirements:

·         1.5+ years’ experience in a TWS distributed batch scheduling tool scheduling batch jobs working on the database.     

·         1+ years experience coordinating processes and activities that focus on permanent changes to the batch cycles.   

·         1+ years experience troubleshooting scheduling issues within the tool. 

·         1 year of experience in documentation of scheduling processes.   

·         Worked in an environment where there are minimum 25 K job in database

Soft Skills that would be expected 

·         1+ years experience in coordinating the efforts of all functions to complete scheduled jobs in a timely manner.

·         1+ years experience trouble shooting problems (scheduling, software, hardware, application, etc.) and taking corrective action as required.

·         1+ years experience with communications and interfacing with other departments as required.

·         Excellent customer service skills in handling all types of customer issues.

·         Ability to work independently

·         Excellent oral / written communication skills

·         Understanding of auditing processes

·         Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them.
