Position: Web/UI Developer

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Length: 8+ months

Required Skills/Certification:

·         Minimum of 4 yrs of experience in software development for web and mobile technology based applications.

·         Experience with using Perl or Python to develop Web and/or Mobile Applications

·         Experience with HTML5, AJAX, and modern JavaScript Toolkits (jQuery, ExtJS, Dojo)

·         Experience with MVC Frameworks (Catalyst, Template Toolkit, Django)

·         Proven Experience with working on a Unix or Linux based system,

·         Experience with Scrum/ Agile development

·         Experience with MySQL database

·         Strong oral and written communication skills.

·         In-depth knowledge of various RDMS, strong SQL skills and respective knowledge to do data analysis

·         Experience in work breakdown structure based on project requirements.

·         Strong experience in developing and executing code reviews and coding standards.

·         Experience with continuous integration and automated unit testing environments.

·         Strong experience in source code revision control (Mercurial and Git)

·         Ability to work with a cross-functional and globally distributed team.

·         Domain knowledge in Railroad Operating Practices.
