Position: DW - Data Architect

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota

Duration: 3+ Months

No of positions: 1

Job Description:

• Data Architecture with 8 - 10 years experience.
• Gathers and analyzes data and business requirements and translates them into appropriate data models.
• Responsible for designing and maintaining conceptual, logical and physical data models, 
• creates the logical data model and the first cut of the physical data model. 
• Creates, maintains, and enforces data modeling and naming standards and Information and Data Architecture Strategies, 
• provides data definition language (DDL) to the database administrators for implementation.
• Proficiency in reverse engineering of database and generating reports from data modeling tool.
• Experience in Enterprise Integrated, Normalized/Dimensional Logical and Physical Modeling, Data Analysis and Data Profiling.
• Should possess good experience in database design.
• Good understanding of SQL and ability to run queries against the database for purposes of data analysis (mainly PDW platform).
