Role: Oracle Functional / Technical Consultant

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 6 – 12 month

 

NOTE: Client needs only genuine candidates with references and willing to take 2 – 3 rounds of interviews including Skype

 

Job Description:

• Should have experience in R12 implementation / support and have worked on AP,AR and Project accounting and GL modules.
• Should have knowledge of interface processes between AP, AR and PA.
• Knowledge of various intercompanies processing.
• Should have worked on closing AP, AR and PA modules.
• Good setup knowledge.
• Sound Knowledge on AP, AR and Project accounting cycles and data flow.
• Should be able to write queries for troubleshooting issues and knowledge of R12 tables.
• Should have troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Basic Knowledge of Unix commands.
• Able to work independently and interact with the clients on day to day basis.
• Knowledge of OBIEE would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handling Month end close and ensuring all the transactions are processed correctly.
• Handling reconciliation issues between AP, AR, PA and GL.
• Handling user queries and Production support for Oracle applications R12.0.1.
• Handling reporting month end to generate reports in Cognos and other reporting systems used by clients.
• Troubleshooting issues related to Payment batches.
• Assisting users and offices in closing the AP, AR and PA modules for their individual offices for particular month as a part of month end activities.
• Working on various close related activities.
• Troubleshooting issues during the close.
• Doing various setups in AP,AR and PA.
• Working on operations activities like processing transactions stuck in interface, running intercompany processes.
• Resolving exceptions for the intercompany transactions.
• Generating reports after the month end close using OBIEE and recording them to the reporting applications.
• Communicate with the clients and user communities to understand the issues and provide solutions.
