Position: Oracle Engineer 

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

 

Note: US citizen or GC holder (minimum of 3 yrs on GC) to qualify

Job Description:

• SCOPE: Plans and executes analysis, design, evaluation, programming and implementation assignments requiring advanced techniques on highly complex business systems.
• Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of multiple, interlinked systems and programs. Functions as the technical lead for medium to large-scale projects.
• Achieves operational status within time parameters and with acceptable cost and operating performance.
• Prepares cost analysis and justification for complex systems and programming projects. Evaluates and recommends changes in development, maintenance and system standards.
• May work independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing technical guidance concerning definition of system scope, goals, and objectives.
• May provide quality assurance review.
• May act as an internal consultant providing work direction and guidance to others on highly complex projects.

 

Description:

• Candidate will have proven experience in development of Oracle eBusiness applications (Oracle Financials 11.5.10 and/or Oracle R12), Oracle financial application workflow and the ability to analyze customer accounting business requirements and incorporate those requirements into Oracle financial applications.
• Must have a good working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports 6I, Oracle Financial Analyzer and Discoverer.
• As a plus the candidate would have knowledge of Governance and/or Serena.
• The candidate will participate in and provide support for the design, build, and implementation of Delphi system changes as well as participating in the maintenance of all processes and functions currently performed by the financial systems.
• They will also perform system analysis, design, programming, testing, and prepare system documentation and program specifications.
