Job Title: .Net Developer

Duration: Long Term

Location: Atlanta, GA

Qualifications:

• Technology - AS400 / LE / Free / RPG IV, Visual Basic, .Net, SAAS, Java, ABAP, Java / .Net, DB2
• This engagement includes outsourcing maintenance, support and enhancement of "Client" operational software applications to NTT DATA. As part of the AMO Assessment Roadmap the NTT DATA and "Client" identified ninety-four (94) In-Scope applications which have been assembled into three (3) groups.
• NTT DATA designed a phased solution for this engagement, providing near-term benefits to "Client" through effective transition of services, stabilization of the services environment, and optimization of both NTT DATA services and "Client" applications.

Industry Experience

• 3 years experience in working in Client-Server environment
• 3 years experience in VB .NET
• 3 years experience in SQL server
• Desired skills: Experience in Manufacturing Domain ,MDAC db connectivity.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Team member will participate in the knowledge transfer activities of Transition phase.
• Technical staff member will be responsible for specific task completion as defined in the Knowledge Acquisition Plan (KAP) and will assume custodial ownership at the end of the phase.
• Team members will be responsible for providing the services defined in the SLA for In-Scope applications .
• Enabling responses to user inquiries, researching problems, and providing overall assistance for users to perform their jobs.
• Support batch and on line processes for both on and off shift.
• Provide Production Support, so that application programs produce the expected results and function as designed.
• Provide emergency support/fixes so that the production cycles may be completed on schedule.
• Table changes, monitoring/executing jobs, conducting performance tuning of the application, performing backups, and implementing minor upgrades / patches.
• Participation in planning for the testing, and conducting testing of disaster recovery exercises in accordance with overall disaster recovery planning and guidelines.
• Working with the client to execute the DR/BC plan in the event of an actual disaster, and testing of In-Scope Applications as part of a software or hardware update.
• Make software changes to In-Scope applications as per the agreed monthly target of Service Request hours.
• Make coding change to provide a permanent resolution.
• Monitor and Maintain knowledge repository.
