Job Title: Java Developer with Hadoop

Location: Minneapolis, MN

• Java, Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka and Storm.

Job Description:

• Client is building their pricing systems.  It is an effort that they kicked off the end of 2014. 
• They are starting to build out some Rules Engines, goal is to specify what price is assigned to what item. 
• They are working on putting in place tools and capabilities to respond quickly.
• They are looking for Java Developers with Hadoop, Cassandra, Kafka and Storm.
• For Rules they are using Drools which is a business rule management system.  JBoss Enterprise BRMS is a productized version of Drools with enterprise-level support available.  Also using Hive as well as Drools from a data management perspective.
• The have two Scrum teams already in place and they are looking at standing up another Scrum team.  Previous Target experience is good or pricing experience.
