Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Required Experience/Skills:

• 10+ years total experience as an Infrastructure Engineer with concentration around servers, storage, networking, and virtualized/cloud technologies - preferably in the financial services industry.
• Expert level experience in managing/implementing/designing highly agile infrastructures with focus on scalability, redundancy, and performance.
• Expert level managing/implementing MS Windows 7, 8, Server 20XX, Linux, Solaris 5.x operating systems
• Expert level experience with private/public cloud-based implementations using MS or VMware based solutions
• Expert level in Citrix Netscaler/XenApp technologoes
• Demonstrated expertise with SAN, NAS technologies, in an on premise and/or cloud environment
• Strong experience supporting MS SQL Server 2008/2012/2014,.NET 4.x, Oracle 11g
• Applied and deep experience with Citrix, IIS, SAML/Multi-factor Authentication, AD/AD Federated Services, ITIL Framework
• Applied expertise LAN/WAN/WiFi technologies
• Applied expertise of public/private DNS, and network management constructs (SNMP, MIB)
• Experience with capacity planning and monitoring within Hyper-V or VMware infrastructure
• Proven history of performance tuning physical and virtual environments (networking/storage/servers)
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with the installation and support of telecommunications circuits
• Experience with a scripting languages – PowerShell, command shell, iRules, etc.
• Ability to think on an enterprise level and be forward looking
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work outside of business hours and weekends as needed to support business needs
• Ability to work independently, with little supervision
• Ability to collaborate with others, and work in cross-functional teams.
• Nice to have:  Solaris, Linux, Oracle, R/T Messaging, work in financial services with real-time environments, Hadoop/HDFS, NoSQL

Certifications:

• Microsoft MCSE/MCITP certified (required)
• VMWare certifications (desired)
