Position: IBM WMB Technical Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA/ Minneapolis MN/ Raleigh, NC

Duration: FTE

Job Responsibilities:

·         7-10 years of IT experience with recent 2+ years in WebSphere Message Broker (now called IBM Integration Bus)

·         Able to debug message flows, troubleshoot errors Queue and Broker management and optimization Hands-on knowledge of using MQ explorer, RFH Util, WMB toolkit Monitor performance parameters (CPU, memory), trace logs and system logs Archival,

·         Backup and restore queues Monitor and schedule batch jobs, retrigger failed jobs Security configuration, access rights, user groups configuration Integration knowledge (DB, web service, Rule engines), adapters and its configurations

·         Should have knowledge on Java and eSQL coding

·         Sound Knowledge about: PL/SQL Database objects, web services

·         Knowledge of Autosys or similar scheduling utilities

·         Familiarity with IBM Support pacs and fixpacks Unix commands Operational knowledge

·         Ticket resolution, SLA tracking and reporting, ticket prioritization as per SLA

·         Sound communication skills to be able to interact with business stakeholders and users Willingness to learn and adapt new technologies in and methodologies.
