Position: Information Architect

Location: Cupertino, CA

Job Description:

• Full understanding of Verticas architecture. Mastery in Verticas optimizations techniques such as projections and partitioning. Skill sets include but are not limited to:
• Install, configure and upgrade Vertica cluster.
• Setup and implement Vertica cluster production backup & disaster recovery.
• Setup and implement maintenance & monitoring including performance monitoring & troubleshooting.
• Scripting for the database admin jobs and maintenance.
• Optimized projections for improved performance of queries and review queries
