What are we looking for?  Our security systems administrators are responsible for information security and the protection of data resources of our clients. We review and monitor network security as well as desktop, server and mobile. This team is also leveraged for installing, administering and troubleshooting our client’s security solutions.  Our field teams will perform risk assessments, audit equipment and their respective software, update all software to the latest security patches, and ensure that each network resource has the proper defenses.

This position is touching our customer’s core systems and therefore a high sense of trust and ethics is an important personal attribute we look for in each new team member. Detecting, investigating and resolving all incidents is part of our services.  Equally important is thinking proactively and working to recommend and implement preventative measures is where we strive to be to avoid security incidents for our clients.

Our security focused systems administrator's responsibilities traditionally include the following responsibilities:

·         CISSP Type

·         Performing vulnerability and penetration tests

·         Hands on analysis and remediation of existing systems and ensure they are current on all security releases

·         Identification of patch needs, understanding and ranking of potential vulnerabilities, and implementation of needed patches.

·         Work with application business owners to determine patch windows, patching impacts, remediation plans and roll-back plans.

·         Experience with patching UNIX/Linux, XenApp and Windows server and desktop environments are crucial.

·         Monitoring traffic for suspicious activity

·         Configuring and supporting security tools (firewalls, antivirus, and IDS/IPS software)

·         Analyzing and establishing security requirements

·         Identifying potential threats and implementing steps to defend against them

·         Conducting security audits

·         Providing technical security services

·         Experience preparing use cases and testing the complete life cycle of Procure to Pay in PeopleSoft

·         Ability to work in a Team setting
